Faded Glory

Polaroid Corporation announced earlier this year that after today, they will no longer manufacture instant film. After today, an era of instant imaging will be relegated to a chapter in the history books.

Today I went by the former world headquarters of Polaroid in Waltham, Massachusetts. In the past couple of months, the facility has been slowly dismantled bit by bit. There even were crews there today demolishing the manufacturing facility.

This is a collage of several images all taken digitally but processed with a little application called Poladroid -- new technology to emulate the old -- and, as of today, extinct -- technology.
