The Prince Albert, Brighton

I discovered this during our wander yesterday.

Today it was up and getting packed and checking out. Then out to a village called Falmer to a Steiner kindergarten open day.
It was so nice. Lots of very calm children playing with all natural materials watched over by very calm, unobtrusive adults.  One of the adults talked to us about their philosophy and practises and it certainly seemed all thought about in a very careful and profound way.
Freddie slept through it all of course but his mum was very taken with it and has put his name down to start when he is nearly three.

Then it was back to town and the railway station and heading for home.
The travelling was all very straightforward and we got home about eight.

General impressions were that I mostly liked Brighton and have a good feeling about Maya and Freddie moving there, a wrench though that will be. I am happy that she has some ambition still and is looking for something useful to do with her life.
Fred has been a complete star throughout, taking everything in his stride, all the new people and new situations. He has an adventurous little spirit and I think he'll be fine with all the changes.
