San Fran

Not much sleep due to loud neighbors at the hotel but pre-planned trip to Alcatraz so no time to be tired. Mum and Dad stayed behind to explore the Wharf and some of the city and Caroline and I got on a boat over to the Island. It was a fascinating trip and I was pleasantly surprised given some of the reviews I had heard. Really brought it home how tough it would have been there. We could have stayed for hours longer but needed to get back to meet mum and dad. 
We grabbed some lunch on Fishermans Wharf and then watched a street artist who was from the UK and very funny, particularly after a little too much wine.
We had an explore of the city, saw the trams, Lombard street and China town.
