I visited Language Show Live Scotland today.

On a positive side, there were many stalls and everyone was happy to chat and not only push their language courses/memberships/free pens at you. Language tester sessions were also fun and there was a variety of seminars for linguists, interpreters, teachers etc.

On a negative side, it's not the best venue for this type of trade expo, there are no separate rooms for seminars or tester classes so it's all very loud and chaotic and it's hard to hear sometimes. Also, four pounds for a 'tuna' sandwich that was 80% raw onion?! Nope.

Overall, I'll probably come back next year with a bit more of a plan.
