We Scored a Duck

After all the high fives and good bowling yesterday, we started our semi-final today in good spirits. Seven ends later we were walking off the green licking our wounds. Not only defeated but by 17 shots to nil, yes you read it right no shots to us, not one - zilch. An absolute duck.

The only good thing was the team that played them in the final were beaten 14-0, so we were not the only team today to lose without scoring a shot.

So the blip today is off the ducks that sit on the fireplace, I thought it was quite apt as there were so many ducks up the club today. On the scorecard this time and not the green like it has most of this season with so many puddles on the green.

The one good thing about today - wall to wall sunshine.
