got the gift wrapping finished a couple of days ago for once, just had to put the last few things under the tree before going to bed. a relaxing xmas eve night for once - which was handy, as we were at friends for lunch, then i spent the afternoon catching up with J and her son (who is 18 and a rock god in training, i remember him in a pushchair so i feel my age!). nice to catch up, tho neither of us were feeling xmassy - then again, sometimes glad to be not at work is enough!
