Ancient and modern

Must be spring?
Still nursing the tail end of a throat infection I couldn't resist getting out on a bright and breezy day, and anyway, I had a new pair of boots and a camera to break in. Herself dropped me off before she headed away to distant remoteness in search for more holy wells, while I walked home. 
A good 4 hour walk served to blow some of the cobwebs away. The boots worked hard but I am still adjusting to the personality of the little Sony RX100M4!
