Little Moreton Hall

Chris and I headed a little further afield today to visit Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire. It's a great place and we had lovely lunch before exploring the rest of the hall. It appears to defy gravity with some of the walls and windows at very odd angles but has stood for hundreds of years already so I'm sure it's not about to fall down tomorrow.

After leaving, we headed for Biddulph Gardens but the SatNav (not the person putting in the postcode!) let us down and took us on a magical mystery tour of Stoke instead. We then decided to head for home but on the way spotted some barges on the canal in Market Drayton so we decided to have a quick walk. Ten minutes of driving around Market Drayton followed and we couldn't find how to get to the canal so we gave up and came home!

The extras are Tudor wall paintings that are still clearly visible today and the swirls from a tree with part of its bark removed.
