Surf School

There was limited scope for blips today as it was rainy most of the afternoon but I caught these guys taking part in the surf school on the beach this morning . This is just as they are venturing out to sea for the first time. As you can see there is precious little surf and we know how frustrating that feels for budding surfers as we had two of our grandchildren stay with us  on a week long surf school when the sea was be-calmed. Boring....

Actually today's sea was displayed very unusual conditions with a band of ripples at the water's edge stretching out for a way and then it was totally flat and calm out to the horizon. The very opposite of what it normally is.
