Life and me

a Kerry beach

We had a beautiful day. The weather was amazing, hot and bright. We went up through Glengariff to Kenmare then drove west along the coast. We had lunch in Sneem, then carried on as far as the Scariff Inn with its spectacular views of the Skelligs.
The highlight of the day were the beaches though, white sands and blue lapping waves, and very few people. We so wished we had brought swimwear, but it was nice to just wander and paddle and soak up the sunshine.
It was hard to choose a picture. This is of the first beach, somewhere near Caherdaniel. That's the Beara peninsula there in the distance.

Thanks for the well wishes yesterday.
