Time for a spot of preening

A beautiful morning, a blue sky but a bit chilly. I went for an early walk round the loch in the Heritage Park. Not too many folk around. The grassy areas were still very wet and muddy.

The two swans were busy with their morning titivations, the gulls were minding their own business but the geese ... noisy, aggressive and pairing up with a possible mate. The Greylags are there all year round and now the Canada geese are back and will remain until the autumn.
