Length of wall

Its Mono Monday and here's my depth of field entry.  Actually, it was a bit more difficult than expected because I'd forgotten how difficult it is to get a point and shooot camera to do what you want!  Even though I shot this at f3.0 and almost pointed the camera directly at the bit of wall in front of me, nearly all of the wall was in focus!  I suppose that's a good outcome but I was hoping for a bit more blur than this.
