Royal Border Bridge

Busy very short day at work, then a pleasant walk to the station - once again, just enough time to go down in to Castle Vale Park before the bus departed. This time, just far enough for a view of the rather splendid Royal Border Bridge, which carries trains on the East Coast Main Line over the River Tweed. The viaduct is even longer than shown in the blip - 28 arches, apparently - and it doesn't, as its name implies, span the border between England and Scotland. The border's about 3 miles to the north!
