Sunday visits ❤

My great Aunty Ishbal ❤ 96 this year and up until last year was in her own home. She's in a home now mostly because the Dementia she's been living with for a while, got worse. Some days she takes a while to recognise me, and is a bit confused. Today was a day of crystal clarity (and without getting too soppy, I really appreciate and treasure days like these!). I love listening to stories of her past and her being actively engaged and remembering what I'm up to now :) Don't be scared of #dementia , it's possible to live well and happy with it!
