A Lilliputans Dictionary

This little dictionary is of Maori Place Names and measures an inch by two inches. The little stand is made of native woods and of course that is a Maori Tiki on the front. It was gift we gave my late father in law over 50 years ago.it really is quite fascinating see what all the place names mean, such as Owaka where I grew up was the place of the canoe.

What was to be my blip is in extras. A poor image of an insect which I want someone to identify. Is it just a grasshopper. It is on my swan plant and I am wondering if that is what is eating all my monarch caterpillars. One day I had five next day all gone. this morning three, tonight two. So frustrating.
A little gardening achieved today so all good.
