Sun is shining, but we still have the stormy winds. And that will be the case tomorrow too. But it feels so much better with the sunshine. The wind feels quite cool, but otherwise it's okay. At least we are able to be out more with the dogs.

Can't really go out to the campo as everything is so muddy, but with this wind it should dry in no time.

If you look close at the sea behind the boys, you'll see a layer of brown sea. As the water has taken everything with it from ground to trash, there's not clear waters at the moment. Water seems to be high too. Perhaps tomorrow or Thursday we'll go to the beach and check it out.

Exciting times ahead for us as hubby's parents are arriving on Monday next week, and our son on Tuesday. Niklas is getting off army tomorrow! 8,5 months accomplished. He got an promotion (don't know if you use the same word in army as in business) and is a corporal now. In Finland army duty is mandatory for men and optional for women. It's been optional for everyone in Sweden for some years and I read that this summer the conscription(?) will become mandatory for men and women of certain age and some percentage will have to join the army. (Swedes correct me if I'm wrong.) I think it should be either mandatory or optional for both genders in Finland too. We are proud of our level of equality, but this here is great inequality. If you don't want to serve in army you can also choose civil service which means that you perhaps work in a hospital, morque or kindergarten. What's inequality in that case, is that the service time is considerably longer. The world is not ready yet- is it?
