First Mandarins

I spotted the first mandarin duck couple back on the lake at Trentham Gardens this week. But I've waited for some sunshine to catch Mr in his finery. Hopefully 'll get a good shot of Mrs soon too. She may not be as spectacular but her beautiful cream eye make up is so elegant.

The extra is one of Coot Fight Club! It looks more like a gossip quartet but they were really sizing up for a scrap, and seconds later it all broke out....
