A Salty Dog

A tug passes a salt encrusted window heading north up Scapa Flow; all this during breeze Erland.  In the morning I finished my book.  I received a phone call from our Birsay correspondent and then had a conference call about funding for the Hoy Kirk.

In the afternoon I revisited page 165 of the French dictionary I retained from school.  I try to memorise one French word per month.  Today’s word was ear-trumpet’.

Linguists should not be concerned.

Tomorrow is a brand new day.
