T-shirt weather in the Langdales

A glorious day in the fells. After a regular eye-test in Kendal I headed up to Elterwater. Did a circuit of the Great Langdale valley with an extension up Stickle Ghyll as far as the top of the waterfalls. At the end added a quick jaunt out to Elterwater tarn - 10 miles in total. The world and his wife seemed to be in Elterwater today and at 11:15 all the car parks were full. Managed to squeeze the car into a space on the road-side. Not sure where everyone was I didn't see that many people out on the route I took. You can never have too many views of the Langdale Pikes so there another in extras.
