Wanderings & Witterings

Torryburn

Today's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers started and ended in the village of Culross in Fife. At 17km it was longer than our usual Wednesday walk but, apart from a brisk wind, the weather was fine and the underfoot conditions kind.

From Culross we walked up out of the village and then north and east towards and through Valleyfield Wood before joining the Fife Coastal Path, continuing east to Crombie Point. After a stop for lunch we followed the coastline path along the River Forth back to our starting-point.

Today's blip was taken on that return leg near the village of Torryburn.
