Crocuses

Walked with the Third Wednesday girls today.   It was a dull day but dry, which is always a bonus.

We took the bus from EK to Ayr, and had a snack before starting our walk along the promenade to the bridge over the river, then walked along the river to Belleisle Golf Course and from there into Rozelle Park.

The park has a new feature, a WW1 Poppy Walk, which is very interesting and well done, with lots of wooden carvings relating to the war.  It needs a lot of landscaping and finishing but I think will be a valuable attribute to the park eventually.

We walked back the way we came, and I was surprised to see that we had done 8 miles in total by the time we got back to the bus station.

The chat was great, they are an interesting group of 'girls'.......
