The flowers again

These 3 flowers are some of the beautiful flowers that my friends gave me on Sunday. I photographed a few yesterday and have done these today in the sunshine. I liked both pictures. I am always using manual settings now and use the histogram to get the right settings as advised by Emma Davies in the a year with my camera course. I love the effects I can get with the camera.
It's been a beautiful springlike day, sunshine and blue skies. I did a bit of gardening this morning but it's difficult concentrating. My friend Kath came round this afternoon, was lovely having a catch up.
