Giving our vote

The paper we all received at home displaying the 28 political parties and their members from which we can choose one to give our vote to today as we live Election day today... and 81% of the voters delivered their vote; that shows we care about our politics!

As we voted with the red pencil marking on paper our choice, the votes were counted by people and not by computers. Thus the results came in rather late in the eve and night, but it did become clear that the turn out was large and that many of us voted pro Europe parties! I'm glad the result is we at the least didn't start off another populist Spring!

Mr. Blondie and his nationalistic One Man party (PVV) did become the 2nd large party taking seats in Parliament, what surprises me still, but there are 2 runners up parties who have only 1 seat less in the Houses of Parliament than no.2 and we're all here to remind Mark Rutte, if necessary, that he stated he will not govern our country with that nationalist mr. Blondie.

From the 28 parties that took part, 13 received enough votes to occupy one or more seats in the House of Parliament and from those 13 parties a coalition for the cabinet must be formed to govern our country... it would be wonderful if that coalition is realised within 2 months.
