Toms going begging

Just picked a carrierbagful of our cherry tomatoes ready for tomorrow, which are now on the ground floor keeping cool. It's another of our Menu del Dia lunch dates with friends tomorrow - ten of us this time - and I'm taking the tomatoes in the hope that they'll want to share them out... which reminds me I must take some bags with us.

I hope it will be 'us' going for lunch and not just me, because Steve's not brilliant at the moment, with pains/aches in his ears as well as his more to be expected achey joints. The wind has turned to the west this past week, a much stronger wind meaning that the turbines make even more noise, and we are wondering if that's the cause of the ear problems, because the doctor can't find anything wrong with them. Another doctor's appointment in the morning may or may not help.

p.s. it looks as though they're toms going camping!
