Abstract Thursday 90 - Patterns

Thank you to Ingeborg for setting  this theme for today's challenge. Sometimes you can think for ages about what the subject will be for a blip, and sometimes it is right there in front of you.  I was thinking of all the different patterns that are around us, when I realised that the mat my cup of tea was sitting on would be perfect for this blip.  The mat is made of linked wooden blocks, so all I needed to do was pixelate a bit in Photo Plus and tweak the colour - job done.  I have included the original as an extra.
