HERSHEY!!!!

Hershey has lived up to his name, he loves chocolate. I know it's bad for dogs but he doesn't seem to have read the handbook. I put the basket of unwashed mugs and plates from this morning's teen group (Girls Matter) high on the counter. Hershey was obviously attracted by the smell of hot chocolate.
The group was incredible today. There has been so much senseless violence, with 1-2 boys shot per day. On Monday a special boy was killed while helping others. We lit a candle to acknowledge the suffering, and then we spent the time doing and talking about girl stuff. These kids are so real and beautiful.
