Spring Bus Challenge No 121!!

Fashion Museum, Bath

"The Fashion Museum is housed in the Assembly Rooms in Bath... The collection was started by Doris Langley Moore, who gave her collection to the city of Bath in 1963. It focuses on fashionable dress for men, women and children from the late 16th century to the present day and has more than 100,000 objects. The earliest pieces are embroidered shirts and gloves from about 1600." Wikipedia

Not an arduous Bus Challenge today, but one that I've been meaning to do for a long time, and one that suited today's cold weather and energy levels. An amazing collection of beautiful items were on display, but the most fun part of the visit was the chance to dress up in Georgian and Victorian costumes, and take a "walk" along the Royal Crescent!

Having done my best to avoid posting self portraits on blip over the last four years, you've now had three in the last six days! Though hopefully they've been random enough for me to remain anonymous. However, if you should happen to spot someone in a Victorian bonnet, wearing opticians' glasses and walking backwards, then you know who it is!!

(Photo taken on my camera under my direction, though a lot of tweaking was involved. My Bus Challenge friend will happily admit to not knowing one end of a camera from another!)

Total bus journey time = 40 mins
