My first Herwick of the year, I must be in the Lakes......

I am, in Keswick for a few days to be exact. I'm not sure we've chosen the best weekend. The weather is set to be mostly.........wet!

We left home, in Staffordshire, in reasonable weather, drove through glorious sunshine in Lancashire and then hit rain in Cumbria.

So we went gear shopping in Ambleside, and popped into Grasmere to buy the obligatory gingerbread to take home.

We've just managed a brisk walk to Friars Crag late this afternoon, just for me to get my shot.
