Experimental Photography

With thanks to Marcus_Hediger for an interesting weekly challenge.  Exploring the limits of your camera.  This week's challenge was Exposure.  This was shot to drastically overexpose at f5.6, 1/4 second and ISO500.  It's a photograph that Jon's grandmother painted that I always coveted when it was hanging at his parents' house.  When his mom asked me what I would like to have, it was my first choice.  The original is in extras.  Kind of fun to push the limits of your camera and learn some of the amazing features.

Also in extras is a Flower Friday tulip.  The sun is hot, but the ground remains covered by about 12" of snow.  No tulips outdoors for awhile, but 3 pots for $10 seemed like a good idea.
