Egytian Geese: after a swim...

Much cuter in "large".
Look: little wings! The dark shape beneath its beak is a moorhenling at the water's edge. I like the way that the early(ish) light highlights their down/feathers. The goslings were up when I arrived, but were being amusingly feisty and kept chasing pigeons with their mouths open ("terrifying")... The gosling at the right is drying, not dribbling.

I've uploaded a picture of a gosling entering the water to my Blipfolio: they still haven't worked out how to do it properly, so merely approach an edge, then fall in unceremoniously. It is most amusing, especially when there is a drop.
