Classic

A fine start to the school holiday. Ran 22 kilometers in the morning. Watched an episode of Thunderbirds and read some Terry Pratchett in the afternoon. Took Valerie for a meal at a Turkish restaurant before going to see Mauro Iurato perform a violin and piano concerto at the Symphony Hall. Some truly sublime music, hard to pick a favourite but I think it would have to be Czardas by Vittorio Monti. And here is Mauro Iurato with Giuseppe Mariotti, who played piano and pipe organ with him this evening.

"Love is not love, without a violin playing goat."  (Julia Roberts)
