Shapes and shades

Heavy rain during the night but the morning dawned dry but rather dull and overcast.. 

Before settling down to watch the Scotland v Italy rugby match L and I paid a quick visit to the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews .... an advantage having an annual pass means we can visit any day for as long or short a time as we want.

I always enjoy this view from the rock garden looking down towards the pond .... such a wonderful variety of trees and bushes.
