Camouflaged

Grey Warbler's nests are cunningly disguised to outwit parasitising Shining Cuckoos. This one certainly fooled me - I thought it was just a large piece of hanging lichen until I had a closer look. Grey Warblers nest from August until January and raise two broods. Grey Warblers are much smaller than Shining Cuckoos and keeping a cuckoo chick fed is hard work.
