It's Grim Up North

Going home

As we drove home through the Mallerstang valley (the land that time forgot unless you are a Settle to Carlisle railway fan or a sheep or a march hare, of which there were many) a host of golden warning lights appeared on the dashboard; APS, tyre pressure and power steering.
Fortunately we were opposite a hostelry when this happened. (See above) We spent the next two hours sitting by the fire having lunch waiting for the AA man. AA man couldn't see anything wrong with wheel that was held responsible for the cluster of sparkling lights. So continued home with dashboard illuminated like a Christmas tree and no doubt Skoda will spend another week trying to find out which sensor isn't working properly this time. Skoda ranks highly in car reliability, so god help the people with cars that rank lower.
Mallerstang valley in extras.
