Who was the winner?

I am so sorry - I changed my entry but a few of you had already commented on the Mandarin Duck I posted first.

It was only when I put this photo up on the computer did I see the pigeon - so it follows that I did not see who won this race!
A pair of Mandarins were down in the stream beyond the Leg of Mutton Pond - I have never seen them there before. They are so pretty, the males looking almost artificial. I took several photos of hem as you can see here.
 And, I spotted Nessie on the Boating Pond - the swan was not at all bothered by this monster - see my extra photo.
