The Towers

I toddled along to The Towers ballroom in Hornchurch this afternoon to see how they were getting on with the demolition and got chatting to a fascinating chap who told me all about the Kings Brothers playing there in the late 50's, airmen being put up there during the Second World War, and various stories about the staff and events there.

A ballroom,  a cinema, lately a bingo hall, it is now being pulled down to make way for a new Lidl.
