Newts!

Went out specifically to see if the newts were back at a regular newt pond haunt, and they most certainly were. Did wonder if this was their own spawn, but checking online it's likely this is frogspawn, with some exposed newtspawn in the extra.

Managed a full day. Out in the early morning for a great bike ride. Just 12 miles, but with bits of muddy fun, and throwing some hills in; time for a cracking kedgeree breakfast; the walk out in East Lothian; finished rebuilding the first of the three raised beds in the garden; then a late sunlit spin in the old Mini, using the need to go to the shop as an excuse.

Still got to do some cartoons for a work presentation. And off to the Hague for a couple of days later this week!
