Bar Headed Goose

The bar-headed goose are normally found in the Himalayas and surrounding areas of Asian, and they’re the world’s highest flying bird, regularly migrating over Everest. The pair I spotted are part of a collection of exotic ducks living on a lake at the JCB factory. The old Mr Bamford was a collector of different birds that are now living happily on his lake and everyone can enjoy seeing them.
The extra is of native grebes nesting. Not the pair I blipped courting last week but I will keep an eye on these in the hope of seeing young soon.
