Yellow Admiral

There were more than a dozen yellow admirals on and around over-ripe plums that I left on the lawn to attract them. Gleefully I grabbed my camera, certain of getting a good shot of at least one on a plum. But everything was against me. The butterflies kept their wings closed, except for snapping them at bees that wanted to share their plums. Also, small clouds raced overhead requiring rapid changes of ISO. It was so frustrating! I took about 70 shots that I deleted before one of the butterflies paused on a rock with its wings open.
