Sunshine colour on a grey afternoon

Wouldn't you know it! We had sunshine this morning while we were getting the odd jobs done ....... it clouded over during the afternoon when we headed out for our walk ....... it was also very blustery too!

So we went for a short walk at Westgate Woods ....... saw lots of Cowslips & Primroses ....... a little bit of colour to brighten the afternoon! We also stood & watched a Robin singing his heart out (Extra). There were lots of little birds darting about in the trees ..... Blue Tits, Great Tits, Long-tailed Tits & Goldfinches.

Then ..... to top it all ..... it started to rain ..... so we beat a hasty retreat back to the car!

As we were driving past the field we saw a Hare quite close to the road ..... Hubby stopped the car & was about to reverse when another car came up behind us ..... as it is a single track road we had to carry on .... but at least we had seen it!

Grizwold is really chuffed that you all liked him ..... in fact I think his head has grown! :-))
