Swan action!

I was coming in after evening feeding when I noticed swans on the pond discussing loudly with others in the air somewhere. I fetched my camera and headed to the pond. I was still in the yard when two more swans arrived. I was still too far to get good shots when three of them had some kind of ritual (see the shots left to right, top to bottom). Then one more swan came and then, after some disagreement, three left. As I was walking back home, I heard loud negotiations from a neighbouring pond and soon one of them flew by again, but didn't land. Quite territorial behaviour when the ponds are all still frozen.
