Mr Blackbird

The best I could manage today is this male Blackbird, who briefly interrupted his search for food and posed for me when I was walking home from the bus stop on this gloomy, windy and sometimes wet day.

Work was very busy again and because of an unexpected shortage of staff, thanks to some temporary help not showing up and no one else being available at such short notice, I shall also be working the afternoon of my day off tomorrow. On the other hand though, I'll have a longer weekend as I won't have to work on Saturday.
