BLEI GIESEN

Blei Giesen is an Austrian hogmanay tradition. You get lumps of lead and heat them over a flame until they go molten. Then drop them into a bowl of water and the shapes they take on signify your fortune for the coming year.
Mine were fish shaped, signifying luck at the lottery according to the wee book that come with it. Yippee!
