Strawberry Fields Forever

A quick wander around our small vege garden and I spied some red, ripe strawberries (they didn't stay on the plant long).  Looking further along the row there were some flowers but what caught my eye was the formation of this new fruit from the flower.  We had taken the bird netting off as we thought we had finished picking strawberries....something wrong with our seasons.
