Southern Blackback gull teenager

I love the plumage of the blackback gulls when it's changing from juvenile to adult. This one was enjoying the fruits of his labours.

There were more pied oyster-catchers than usual on the beach this afternoon too - there's an image in Extras. I wasn't sure which one to blip!
