Day 11

A wander round St Andrews in the morning. More books purchased! It's just too much of a temptation!
Called in to see friends C & H in Colinsburgh and admired their garden, full of spring flowers, and their pond full of frogspawn. Back home, Shelagh was busy, so Mike & I walked both dogs down to see the dredger in the harbour, which wasn't working but still was pretty impressive. Walked along to the windmill and salt pans in the icy wind. Very bracing. We came back with a cry healthy glow!
The extra is Shelagh's shed. One of the reasons for coming down was for Mike to put up the corner brackets he'd carved for her. Every time we visit, a bit more Scandinavianisation takes place!
Lovely long chat with S in the evening,  We're off in the morning and it's always a bit sad . . .
