The Streets Where We Live

Our local square is middle top third in this frame. The area is Dokki and is often described as upper class. Yes, I know. Nearly every trip we make in a taxi from our flat to wherever takes us past the embassy building just off centre to the right at the bottom of the frame. I can't remember which country it belongs to but I think it's an African or Middle Eastern one. The black uniformed general security force conscripts stand drowned by their helmets and holding their stick rifles behind the cream coloured concrete blocks you can see.
