A Wet Day Out

Mr MD and I had a special treat today.   We hopped on a train to York, had lunch in Betty's Tea Room in Stonegate, and then paid a visit to the Minster. (My extra shows the Kings' Screen.)   The organ was playing and the choir was practising in readiness for a BBC recording of Evensong.  Although it rained heavily throughout our time there we did manage a short walk along the city walls.    A most enjoyable trip.
