Blackbird

The blackbird has always been one of my favourite birds. It probably goes back to the one that would follow me round my parents garden when I was pretending to do the weeding.

Plenty about here just now probably heading back to Scandinavia for the breeding season although we do get breeding birds here. There was one with a ring on its leg in the garden at the weekend but couldn't get a shot of him.
