Lunch with Richard

I went to the Puffin Pool this morning with Anne. The forecast had been for sunshine so I was disappointed when we left Fortrose in sleety rain, by the time we were approaching Dingwall we had to drive through heavy snow showers. The fields were white and Ben Wyvis had a nice covering of the white stuff. We watched it falling from the warmth of the Pool but by the time we came out it had cleared.
The sun came out later in the morning.Richard treated me to lunch at Couper Creek in Cromarty. We had a quick walk around afterwards but the wind still had a chill to it.
David has been in Edinburgh at a Book Bug Conference, He's on his way home now. Just thankful that he's not in London this week. Thinking of all those caught up in the horrible situation that happened in London today.
